Injector Rental Program
The JLW CISMA is pleased to make available a JK Injector for residents in Jackson, Lenawee and Washtenaw Counties to help manage invasive species such as Japanese knotweed and Giant hogweed. The injector is free to rent and available for pick up at your local Conservation District (please contact your Conservation District for availability and pick up times).
Everyone who uses the injectors must have a signed rental agreement on file with a Jackson, Lenawee or Washtenaw Conservation District. Photocopies of identification and credit/debit cards will be kept on file and charged as necessary (replacement/repair, late, and/or cleaning fees) and destroyed after rental is complete. If equipment is returned on time, in the same condition, and cleaned (triple-rinsed) there will be no charge incurred. Scroll down for youtube video showing how to use the injector, instruction manual and rental contract which contains full details and conditions regarding renting the injector. Funding for these injectors was made possible through the Michigan Invasive Species Grant Program.
